Thomas Schmitz will lead JamSession on how to optimize your business for Google
Mar 25th, 2007 by Dan McComb
Internet marketing expert Thomas Schmitz, founder of SEOcritique, is joining the invited speaker lineup for BizJam, where he’ll be teaching a workshop on how to optimize your indie business website for Google. Thomas recently taught an awesome Biznik workshop on the subject, Search Marketing Coffee, that earned him a lot of compliments from Biznik members and an invite to speak at this event. Here’s the description of his BizJam workshop:
Google is the world’s number one search engine serving 47.5% of all US Internet search queries and processing over 3 billion queries a month. When your web site ranks highly for the right words, you can tap into a steady stream of qualified, profitable visitors. In this session you will learn what Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is, how to use basic SEO techniques for your own web sites, where you can find SEO information and tools, and how to combine effective SEO for Google with compelling copy and design for your visitors. While this session is Google centric, we will also discuss strategies and techniques that can help your web site rank better on all the major US search engines.
