Two years after the blogging revolution, a new set of Internet tools has arrived in the form of Social Media. Byron’s keynote will explain what those tools are and how to use them for your small business. With numerous examples, strategies, and best practices, Byron will demystify Social Media from analysts buzzwords and blue-sky punditry into practical applications that you can start using today.
Byron is also presenting a workshop called, “Mashed Up Marketing” later the same day.

Byron is the Principal of Textura Design - texturadesign.com. He lived the dotcoms, dotcom crashes, invented Clip-n-Seal, speaks at conferences, and is the co-author of Publish & Prosper: Blogging for Your Business, a Peachpit Press book.
With more than thirteen years of experience, Byron is an expert blogger, designer and developer. An entrepreneur and an inventor, he consults with Textura Design’s clients, develops blogging strategies; and publishes Bike Hugger, a blog about bike culture.
Byron lives in Seattle with his wife Pam, two children, and a pug named Cap’n. When he’s not blogging, he races his bicycle with the Union Bay Cycling Club.
