Don’t always believe what you might have read about SEO. Brian will debunk some SEO myths and give you great insight to what the engines like and dislike along with best practices on getting listed high and staying in good graces with the search engines.
Brian will discuss topics including good SEO design, site architecture, meta tagging, clean URLs & directories, using and understanding the Blog-o-sphere and how to create direct relationships with the engines webmaster tools and submitting XML and static sitemaps.

Brian began his career in online advertising in 1996 working for the Seattle-based online dating company, Kiss.com, where he was responsible for everything marketing including media buying, search engine optimization and PPC advertising. One of the first people to purchase paid search advertising from a small company in Mountain View, CA called Google, Brian is a dinosaur and a pioneer in the online marketing world and has worked with many large online dating brands in the past including Kiss.com, uDate.com, Match.com, and Perfectmatch.com. In 1999, Brian and his partners founded Don’t Blink Media, an interactive advertising agency which they recently parted with to form Add Three Inc. - www.addthree.com - a new boutique agency focused primarily on search engine marketing, SEO and affiliate marketing for local and national brands. Brian is a geek at heart and has spent countless hours following search algorithms and has built an extensive and intimate relationship with search engine spiders and crawlers.
